The most iconic name in Liverpool Football Club’s illustrious history is the celebrated Bill Shankly – the man who made people happy. His time at Anfield built the foundations for the achievements and success that followed. Many people have written thousands of words trying to capture the spirit of Shankly and we have three important authors who’ve achieved it. Chris McLoughlin, John Keith and John Roberts, the man who helped Shankly tell his own story back in the late 1970’s.
